At Hollister Elks Lodge #1436, the bar is open, the food is real, and the room fills up fast. Couples have said their vows here and called it perfect. First-timers walk in expecting a quiet fraternal hall and walk out already planning their next visit. That kind of reaction doesn't happen by accident.

The lodge sits at 351 Astro Drive and has earned a 4.4-star reputation built on exactly the things that matter at a gathering place: attentive staff, a bartender who keeps the cocktails moving, and a kitchen that delivers. Staff members like Diane, Anthony, and Lisa have been called out by name in reviews because they show up and stay present through every event.

Beyond weddings and private parties, Lodge #1436 is part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a national organization with deep roots in community service and veteran support. Membership opens doors to those programs, to regular social events, and to a hall that Hollister residents are still discovering for the first time.

What We Offer

The lodge handles the full range of private events, from wedding receptions to milestone birthdays to corporate gatherings. The venue includes a banquet hall with room for a crowd, a full-service bar stocked and staffed for the occasion, and a catering setup that has drawn consistent praise from guests.

Elks membership brings its own set of benefits: access to regular lodge events, participation in community service and veteran outreach programs, and a social calendar that keeps the hall active year-round. Whether you're booking the space for a one-time event or looking for a local organization to join, the lodge team can walk you through both paths.

For event inquiries, reach out directly through the Elks Lodge contact page at elks.org or stop by Astro Drive to see the space in person. Availability books up, so early outreach is recommended.

"Female bartender very rude...seemed overwhelmed & couldn't handle large crowd...a real professional like prior bartender wouldn't have treated us like her...a bartender should be nice ,and accommodating to her customers...wish we had prior bartender back."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
